THE BLUEPRINT

Male and female, created He them
In His image and for a purpose,
That they might show forth His Glory;
Be fruitful, multiply, replenish the Earth
Subdue and then dominate the Earth.

As I journeyed through Eden, the land of beauty,
I was thrilled by the wonders of the Lord.
So magnificent was the sight of Eden that my mind was blown away.
I could only appreciate the majesty of God as I beheld the work of His hands.

As I reasoned the wondrous works of God
Then came a voice unto me
Saying, to thee have I given this garden to keep and to dress it

Thereafter, I heard the Lord say
“It’s not good that the man should be alone;
I will make him an help meet for him”

And so, the journey began
For the choice of an help that is meet for the man,
To this end was brought all living creatures to the man
That he may make a choice

One after the other they passed before him
He looked upon each of them
But was not convinced about any of them
So, all he did was to rightly classify them
According to that which each represented

Thereafter, the Lord undertook for the man
The formation of one who is of the same nature as the man
She was thus brought to him as was done previously

As the man spotted her, something resonated within him
Pointing his attention to the fact that she was the right one
This knowing was by the Spirit of God within the man

For the man was in tune with God
Thus, his judgement was sound;
For his sight had not been lost
And his understanding had not been dampened.

Beloved brother/sister, as you seek to make a choice of marital partner, do note that
1. You could only marry your kind
2. Your choice cannot be based on mere sight
3. The fact that God brought someone your way through whatever means doesn’t mean he/she is the right choice for you. You need to be able to name every creature the Lord brings your way
4. There needs to be a witness within your Spirit agreeing to the choice you’re making

Disclaimer: God hasn’t abandoned the matter of choice of marital partner to mortal men to sort out themselves. He is still interested in guiding us to make the right choices. You need not waste your time trying over and over again. You can get it right once and for all. You can have that peace that passeth all understanding. All you need to do is to get God involved, for He is the perfect Matchmaker.
