SET APART

You may wonder why my actions seem strange
You may wonder why my actions seem irrational
You may wonder why I seem indifferent to that which is seen as normal
You may wonder why I choose to live by certain ordinances
It’s all because I have been set apart

I can’t cast my pearls to the swine
I can’t dance with the daughters of the city
I can’t dine and wine with the sons of the town
For I am set apart

I know my tribe and I know my lineage
I come from a glorious and beautiful kingdom
I am a child of the King, so I must act like a Prince
For I am set apart

I am a pilgrim on an assignment
I have a calling and a purpose to fulfill
I can’t afford to lose focus
For very soon I will be called home to give account of my pilgrimage

Having left Babylon, I cannot afford to touch any unclean thing
For I am now the Temple of God
And I must honor God in my body, His Temple
That He may find my vessel worthy for special assignments

It is the Master’s duty to decide what vessel to use
And for what purpose it is to be used
But I must make myself ready and usable for a glorious purpose
For then will the Father be glorified in me

Dearly Beloved, you are God’s Masterpiece and you were designed for good works. Hence, you need to understand and maintain your consecration to stay relevant as a vessel fit for special purposes. As the Temple of God, you must bear your vessel in holiness, that God may be honored by it. Separate yourself from uncomely things for you were designed for noble purposes.

Of what use is it for a vessel, if the Master cannot take pleasure in using it for a special assignment?
(Think on this)
