The word “Steward” is no strange word to many of us. As a matter of fact, there is the tendency we have heard it so frequently that we have lost touch with what it truly represents.
Merriam Webster Dictionary defines it as “one employed in a large household or estate to manage domestic concerns”. What an amazing definition! (Think on this for a while).

Who then is a faithful person? This is someone who is faith-full such that he commits himself/herself diligently and steadfastly to a cause.
"For he was faithful to the Father who appointed him, in the same way that Moses was a model of faithfulness in what was entrusted to him." Hebrews 3:2 TPT
It behooves us therefore as children of God to realize that we have been employed by God to manage the domestic concerns in His household.
God entrusted Moses with His house and he served faithfully. Even more, our Lord Jesus Christ served faithfully as a Son in charge of God’s House.
Pause [here] and ask yourself, “what trust has the Lord committed into my hands?” Is it to bless His house with your gift or money? To edify His house with your Words? To help the needy? To stand in gap for men? The list is endless.
As a master builder, God has crafted us to be His masterpiece and He has mapped out good things for us to do.
What is that gift which has been given to you by God, how well are you making use of it? How well are you tending to the garden which the Lord has left in your care? Hope it hasn’t been neglected by the cares of this world? Have you not taken a break from it to attend to other matters?

As it is with a man who expects to be remunerated after the day’s (or month’s) labor, so it is with us as stewards in the vineyard of God. At the end of our sojourn here on earth, we would surely receive the reward of our stewardship.
The time cometh when we shall give account of our stewardship. What will the report of your stewardship look like? Would you be bold to say you have managed the domestic concerns in the household of God faithfully?
"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household, to give the others their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns" Matt. 24:45-46
O ye steward, awake from your slumber. Get up and get to work! You do not have all the time at your disposal. Commit yourself wholeheartedly and steadfastly to the trust committed into your hands by The Master. Delay no more, act now!!!
